If you know you want a Volkswagen Sedan, but don’t know which sedan to choose, this guide is for you. New Volkswagen Sedans include three different models, the Jetta, Passat, and the Arteon. That is unless you count the Jetta GLI as a separate model; in which case, there are four. To learn more about the GLI and each of the other current Volkswagen sedans, read the sections below!

Who Should Buy the 2020 Volkswagen Jetta?

The Volkswagen Jetta is the smallest of the sedans currently available from the German automaker. It comes in a few common colors and five different trim levels. The lowest trim level keeps the starting MSRP for the Jetta below $20,000, also making it the most affordable Volkswagen Sedan. The high tech interior, German engineering, and compact turbocharged engine make this vehicle perfect for young drivers and those in need of a fuel-efficient commuter car.

What’s Special About the 2020 Volkswagen Jetta GLI?

The GLI stands for “Grand Luxury Injection,” which refers to how much more powerful the GLI is than the regular Jetta. Since it is still a Jetta, it is on the small side. Its starting MSRP is higher than even the starting MSRP of the Volkswagen Passat, but that’s to be expected for the 2.0L turbocharged engine and other features that make the GLI something to marvel at.

Is the 2020 Volkswagen Passat Good for Young Drivers?

The Volkswagen Passat is probably the easiest sedan for anyone to get interested in. While the Jetta might be a bit small for some, some drivers with more mature taste will prefer the more refined look and drive of the Passat. The boost in size comes with four different trim levels and the same size engine as the Jetta GLI.

What Age Group Is Most Likely to Buy the 2020 Volkswagen Arteon?

The Arteon is like a Passat that has grown up. With sharper body lines and a more aggressive grille and fascia, and classy chrome trim elements, the Arteon is built to attract a more executive crowd and those with a taste for a blend of luxury and power. If the analog clock in the Arteon seems out of place to you, then the whole vehicle might just not be your thing. Fans of the analog clock will be glad to know the rest of the interior is cutting edge digital and shows it all off in style.
