Shopping around the current SUV market is a process of elimination. Years ago, there were fewer SUVs on the road, but now that almost every automaker is campaigning for their share of the demand for the SUV, Volkswagen sticks to what they do best and makes a quality vehicle inside and out without cutting corners. The following is a list of each of the color options for the 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan. Note that not all colors are available on all trim levels.
Cardinal Red Metallic: A dark red color sure to satisfy anyone looking for a conservative color that isn’t black, grey or white.
Deep Black Pearl: Black looks great on the Tiguan SEL trim level as it highlights the many thin, small chrome accents all over the vehicle’s body.
Platinum Grey Metallic: Another conservative color, this grey is the darkest grey available.
Pure White: The pure white paint does well to highlight the lower bumper which remains black at every trim level.
Pyrite Silver Metallic: A lighter grey option than the Platinum, this paint looks more reflective and metallic.
Stone Blue Metallic: Despite looking conservative at first glance, the Stone Blue paint has a modern slate-like tone that lends it a visual texture unlike every other paint on the Tiguan. Some might regard it as teal or greenish-blue as well.
Silk Blue Metallic: This blue is much brighter and probably the most colorful paint available.
Interior Color Choices
The S trim level offers two color choices. The cloth seats in the S can come in Storm Grey or Titan Black. Going up to the SE trim, the seats become leatherette, but still have the same Storm Grey and Titan Black colors. And again, in the SEL trim, the same two colors return in leather, but with the addition of the Saffrano Orange/Black leather option.
