Brown Bear Car Wash

Brown Bear Car Wash, a neighborhood favorite for 50 years.  How it started: 50 years of Brown Bear Car Wash service.  Brown Bear Car Wash began in Ballard, one of Seattle's most colorful neighborhoods.  In 1957, Victor Odermat opened the first Brown Bear Car Wash on 15th Ave. West, and that location is still in operation today.  Click on the link to learn more.

Hoop Fest

The Hoopfest Team.  Lead by Executive director Rick Steltenpohl and the Hoopfest Board of Directors, the staff and operating committee work all year long to organize the event.  Once Spring rolls around many volunteers begin to generously donate their time and efforts.  Ultimately around 3,000 people committ to lending a helping hand for Hoofest weekend.  Hoopfest is truly a team effort.

Seattle To Portland Bicycle Race (STP)

This 200-mile bicycle ride is the largest multi-day bicycle event in the Northwest, with up to 10,000 participants riding from Seattle to Portland in one or two days.   The route takes you through the scenic valleys, forests, and farmlands of western Washington and Oregon.
